Founded in 1988, Child Development Schools is headquartered in Austin, TX operating over 260 childcare centers in 11 states. Our three early childhood education brands are Childcare Network, Sunrise Preschools, and My Small Wonders. We have a great opportunity for a School Achievement Manager to join our growing company!

 

The School Achievement Manager manages the daily execution of the business development strategy, plans, and processes to increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. They will work across all Regions and will report directly to the Director of School Achievement. In conjunction with field leadership, the School Achievement Manager will be responsible for driving business goals throughout all schools to and also be responsible for turn around and performance improvement of low performing schools, as indicated by financial analysis.  The goal is to enable school leaders to become experts at improving and growing their business across all levels of performance.

Requirements

  • Business, Education, Marketing or any other related field
  • Four years of combined childcare center leadership, sales or business development experience is preferred
  • Experience in multi-markets and knowledge of the childcare and/or education market required 
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • In-depth understanding of the marketing and sales processes in education or childcare industries 
  • Adept at using a variety of research database tools as appropriate 
  • Track record of consistent year-over-year growth 
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills; ability to influence a team and motivate/inspire staff 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Demonstrated success working both independently and in highly collaborative environments
  • Requirement of 75% travel based on roles and responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Identifies specific regional enrollment, marketing, and financial goals, in conjunction w/ the Director of School Achievement, Regional and District level operations, Finance, and Marketing
  • Ability to quickly assess growth needs at a school and market level
  • Ability to create a growth plan with field partnership, and support schools with strong follow-up which enables the school to execute on the plan
  • Ability to plan strategically to improve performance at low performing schools, using analytical data and support resources to improve growth & profitability and create stability
  • Works closely with marketing and other corporate support departments to develop creative strategies to grow enrollment and drive an enrollment culture in all schools
  • Analyzes regional competition and strengthens the company’s brand position in regional areas
  • Understands national marketing plans and tailors them to suit regions
  • Develops a clear understanding of the financial goals in a region and the key success indicators
  • Works with the Director of School Achievement to create and implement Grassroot Marketing Toolkit and Best Practices Playbook for the field, also works closely with the District Managers, Regional Directors, Marketing and Center Support on execution plans
  • Executes growth strategy in assigned areas focused on: lead growth and conversion, leads sourcing, planning & prioritization, retention, community engagement & local partnerships
  • Prepares & delivers periodic status reports for regional and field operations
