We have a great opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing company!

 

The marketing assistant role is key to helping a marketing organization run smoothly and effectively. Will help to create and/or co-ordinate content, track results, build relationships, and otherwise support the implementation of all marketing strategies. Act as the intermediary between Marketing and other teams within our organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field, preferred.
  • 1-3 years of administration or marketing assistant experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to handle many diverse projects and tasks.
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • ·A people person and team player, with a knack for diplomatically following up on project priorities and assigned team tasks.
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality, tracking, and coordination of the department’s activities including coordinating meetings and communications as well as taking notes, typing up documents, populate spreadsheets and inputting data.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer data.
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns as well as attending them to facilitate their success.
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Maintain strong communication between the marketing team and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with planning and preparing presentations on behalf of the marketing team.
  • Conduct research for key marketing campaigns.
