Founded in 1988, Child Development Schools is headquartered in Austin, TX operating over 260 childcare centers in 11 states. Our three early childhood education brands are Childcare Network, Sunrise Preschools, and My Small Wonders. We proudly provide quality care and developmental education to over 30,000 children aged six weeks to twelve years. 

 

We have a great opportunity for a Sr. Project Manager to join our growing company!

 

The Sr. Project Manager will work directly with the senior management team acting as a critical advisor and sounding board, facilitating effective decision-making, and overseeing the execution of strategic initiatives. This role requires a highly organized and motivated individual with exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably as a Project Manager, Chief of Staff, PMO leader or similar job function.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to executive team, providing high-level support and insights.
  • Manage and streamline communication and operations between the SVP of Finance, VP of IT and various other departments and functions.
  • Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Facilitate effective decision-making processes and ensure timely follow-up on key issues and decisions.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives as directed the management team.
  • Prepare and review reports, presentations, and other documents for executive meetings.
  • Represent the management team in meetings and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage executive-level meetings, including agenda setting and follow-ups.
