We have a great opportunity for a Director of Family Experience & Loyalty to join our growing company!
The Director of Family Experience & Loyalty will lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide retention strategies across Child Development Schools. This person will partner closely with CX, field operations, Family Services, marketing, and Family Support Specialists team to reduce churn, improve family satisfaction, and strengthen lifetime value.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional leadership role that combines systems thinking, field enablement, and family-first decision-making.
- 7+ years in customer experience, operations, education management, or a related field
- Experience designing retention strategies, customer journey programs, or family support models
- Strong data instincts and comfort working with performance dashboards
- Excellent communication skills, especially in cross-functional and field-facing settings
- A passion for family outcomes, early education, and creating a culture of care

- Design and lead a national family retention strategy with clear KPIs
- Build and manage a portfolio of pilots and interventions focused on high-risk moments (e.g., first 30 days, mid-year friction, pre and post withdrawal)
- Use data to prioritize focus areas (e.g., schools with high churn, low NPS, poor conversion)
- Partner with the CX team on journey mapping, survey feedback, and CRM triggers
- Work closely with the Sr. Director of Education and Retention to translate strategy into field tools, scripting, and training
- Coordinate with the Family Support Specialists and Family Services teams on escalated family issues and on-the-ground interventions
- Monitor and report on retention trends by region, program, and school type
- Analyze NPS, withdrawal surveys, and CRM data to identify and address root causes
- Build case studies and best practice playbooks from successful retention initiatives
- Partner with the Communications, CRM and Marketing teams to align messaging across the family journey
- Develop resources and toolkits for DMs and School Leaders to action retention locally
- Define what “excellent family retention” looks like in the field — and how to measure it
